爱搞搞导读:这个CURRENT当代集团现有策略投资者里面除了Google外，出现很多类似capital之类的风险投资，俺没时间一一去八这些公司的背景，但感觉上现有策略投资者都是一些风险投资类，但到了5月4日那则新闻，投入一亿三千万美元的新策略投资者结构是这4家:
TXU德克萨斯电力网:负责电力网输送，手头上有超过200万用户，可能布什家农场都用这公司电;
General Electric Co通用电器:忘了它负责什么，好像是后台管理方面的咚咚
EarthLink上网服务零售商
Sensus Metering Systems水、煤气和电力设施自动抄表解决方案提供商
全都是干实事的大公司呀，所以结论就是:这批新的策略投资者是用来做比较大的区域性投产的!

Nevertheless, utilities such as TXU Corp. (TXU.N: Quote, Profile, Research) , Texas's largest utility, and Cinergy Corp. (CIN.N: Quote, Profile, Research) in Ohio are testing the service with privately held BPL provider Current Communications Group, of Germantown, Maryland.
The company also is working on early trials with two California utilities -- Edison International's (EIX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Southern California Edison subsidiary and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, a municipally-owned utility.
原来这个计划已经在俄亥俄洲、加洲小范围测试过。美国不同中国，如果因为新的试验导致有人员伤亡或财产损失，赔偿起来可以让一个公司破产。所以俺假设，这次准备面向200万德克萨斯洲用户开放服务，证明了他们对BPL技术有把握了，可能是技术上有突破，所以才取得地方政府的批准投入使用。
